Quest Youth Adventure

What is Quest?

Quest is a “Youth Adventure Program”! What does that actually mean though, and why do we care? In our view, we want to see the young men (ages 13-19) that join Quest as students leave as capable men of purpose & grit. We want you to become strong men of God, learn real outdoor and survival skills, become leaders, build a brotherhood, and have a ton of fun while doing it.

Does climbing mountains, land navigation with a map and compass, tying knots, and building shelters sound like a good time? Well - it is! It also takes some time to learn those skills, which is why we meet every Monday at 7:00pm for classroom and skills development & testing. Just acquiring the knowledge isn’t enough either though, it has to be applied and practiced, which is why we also work up to specific outings to put our skills into practice in real-world scenarios throughout the year.

Our Vision

Our vision is to assist, mentor, and train young men to see God’s hand in his creation, to discover their personal Godly path, and to develop a lifetime relationship with Christ and with each other.

Our Guiding Principle

Our guiding principal is that the single most important idea a young man needs to have in order to accomplish great tasks is to believe that he can.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide young men with instruction, training, goal setting, as well as physical, mental and spiritual experiences.

Our Goals For You As Attendees

  • Training and competence in outdoor skills.

  • Increased desire and love for God’s outdoor activities and adventure.

  • Memorize, understand, and seek the truth of our memory verse.

  • Training and competence in leadership traits.

Our Memory Verse

Romans 1:20 (NASB) “For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so they are with-out excuse.”
